Dorset Police

As part of the ongoing commitment from Dorset’s Safer Schools and Communities Team (SSCT) to safeguard children and young people, we have created support areas where you will find tailored advice, activities and resources to help guide and support young people.

Escapeline

Escapeline help young people to stay safe by educating them about how child exploitation and grooming works in their local area and teaching them protective strategies.

With You

We offer free and confidential advice, information and support to young people experiencing challenges with drugs and alcohol, as well as their families.

We work with them on their own goals, whether that’s cutting down their drug or alcohol use, stopping completely or just getting a bit of advice.

Training Matters

The trainers have years of experience in policing and social work safeguarding roles. The company provides training in safeguarding children and adults at all levels. We also provide other areas of social care training. All courses are designed around the requirements of the customer and national frameworks.

A secure, efficient system to simplify managing children’s services, including children’s homes, supported accommodation, assessment centres, secure homes, and SEN schools. BCP Children’s Service

We can support you if you’re worried about a child or young person at risk, know of a vulnerable child in need, or want to learn more about help for children and families. If you’re unsure if a child is at risk, talk to us or a professional like a teacher or healthcare worker. All professionals working with children have a duty to keep them safe and will know how to help.
